This thread has taken some detours, for sure, however I'm impressed that with a little publicity the chat room came roaring back. At least this thread did some good.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I am new here and this is crazy. New people attacking older members. Old members standing up for the forum and that is respected highly. People just need to close the laptop sometimes and look up and remember that oh yeah there is another world outside of the trolling cyberworld. But again I am new member so I shall shut up now and let the veterans continue the ass beating.

Wow, what critical thinking skills you have developed over your lifespan to come up with that remarkable response! You must be highly successful....

I'm guessing I could profile your professional life very meticulously. But that would be pretty damn boring and really serve no meaningful purpose...much like your post!
WOW...you are really in to it.....(n2it) I'm guessing that you are a pipe smoking professional with a beard and a pocket protector.
How has your luck been in the chat room?

It's a link to an external site. The "image" itself was NOT posted on the forum. Nobody is being forced to look at it.

n2it, based on your subsequent comments the underlying premise of your question in the OP is mistaken. You make reference to chats available on corporate websites and then ask why no one is on the one here. Well, the simple answer is this web site does not represent nor is it an instrument, of any corporation. There is no financial benefit that can be derived by any person or entity by having a person present on the chat site. The chat room here is like your local coffee shop. A group of people gather there, some at the same time most every day, some drop in once in awhile at random times, and most never. Why don't you go to a coffee shop every morning? Probably because you have better things to do! Oh, oh, I think I just expressed the same comment you so severely lambasted early on in this thread.

If you have a question about why the alternator in your car is acting funny, and the people who frequent the coffee shop are retired mechanics, you just might get an answer if you drop in and ask. But then again, you won't if you go there in the pm and the guys are there in the am. And since nobody in that group is being paid to sit there all day waiting for someone with a car question to come in, you aren't going to find someone there just because you want them to be there. In other words, the chat room here is very hit and miss. It is the nature of the beast. If you really need an answer immediately about your alternator then you need to go the GM chat room, or equivalent. If you can wait for an answer, then post it on the bulletin board at the coffee shop. If someone has the answer you need, and they see the question, you'll probably get the answer.

Now, let's suppose your dog got lost. Are you going to go to the coffee shop and ask whoever is there if they've seen your dog? Well maybe, but if you want the greatest number of people to be aware that you are looking for a lost dog you will hang a poster, won't you? Why? Because you know that folks come and go through the coffee shop and maybe someone who has some information to share will get in touch with you. What full time staffed chat room can give the answer you need at that time? None! This forum is the coffee shop bulletin board on which you hang your posters.

I suggest you sit back, think about what this forum really is, and is about, and ask your question again in a more receptive mood, and mode! If you want the chat room to have more activity then go there and start up some pleasant conversations, the kind of conversations that engender camaraderie. Then others will come. And keep in mind it is a coffee shop, not a help desk.

Well said and to the point, I agree 100%. We often get posters on here that think this forum is broken or doesn't work and they just HAVE to change it to their liking . They find out soon enough that we aren't broken and do work, since they can't change it, they tend to finally move on and find something that is what they prefer. Perhaps they may have gotten their therapy tuned in while they were here, hurrah for them, but if they have not, its their own fault, not those here that take their time out of their busy days to help and nurture those that need the help.
Cheers
Nan

No, I haven't seen it before. I suppose a site geared toward teenagers might think it's comical, but to put it in a forum that is supposed to help people with sleep apnea -- I don't think so. And even if it was posted from an external site, I don't see what difference that makes. Since I'm the only person who made a comment on the link, that leads me to believe (ït has been posted before on this forum") that this is a common occurrance now? No, could be my memory, but I didn't see it.

Yep probably your memory, sense of humour, empathy, logic and general understanding - all a little missing in action.
