cl2 vs breeze

Post by DreamStalker » Sat Aug 19, 2006 6:38 pm

I have questions for those whom have tried both the CL2 and the Breeze. How do the nasal pillows compare? … are they interchangeable between the two brands? ... which headgear is more stable on the head? ... which system is more durable?

Is the fishing line/wire-twist tie modification on the CL2 aimed at adjusting the angle of the nasal pillows in same way that the Breeze has the small angle adjustment for the nose piece?

I tried the Breeze for one night and most definitely did not give myself enough time to evaluate it. I noticed that the CL2 is very similar to the Breeze and wish to try out this type of nasal pillow system more thoroughly.

Thanks,

In addition to bumping this thread back up for a reply, I wanted to add one more question.

Are the pillows on the breeze composed of a latex material? I most definitely remember them being different in color and texture than the Swift or Hybrid pillows.

I used the Breeze on my first full night with CPAP but the reaction of my nares to the interface caused me to run back to my sleep center the very next day to swap it out with the Swift. I allowed my ignorance of the CPAP world to over-react and lost the opportunity to learn from my experience with the Breeze. Anyway, I was just wondering if the reason I had such a severe and uncomfortable reaction to the Breeze was the pillow material or just the poor fitting of the interface (again my ignorance).

Thanks,
