What you are failing to understand, while the posts aren't constructive to your problem, they are to other nubies.

We don't like it that you will loose money, but the fault is yours, ordering something you didn't want. Most of us here have learned to do our homework, before we open our billfold. Even then we all have bought things we had second thoughts about, we are supposed to learn from it, the blame is on us, it was our decision to buy.

It's also our duty to warn others not to make the same mistakes, compared, do your homework. Everything we buy is a trade off, small XPAPS, travel well, but have downsides too. (Won't have the normal pressure spec limits, noise, higher cost, non-standard battery power, shorter lifespans). Not for me, I'll carry my conventional 12 volt XPAP, and save the $$$. Jim

You surely won't get your money out of this one and it doesn't make sense to throw money away like that. ANY of these machines can quit working for any number of reasons at any time. So, it makes sense to have spares.

http://www.secondwindcpap.com has some reasonably priced lightly-used machines that would be data-capable.

+1. Excellent advice!

I bought several items that could not be returned, but I could not use.
They were either given away or sold cheaply to someone in need.
I was able to turn regret into a "pay it forward" good feeling.

It was not an easy thing. I am as tight as the proverbial gnat's sphincter.
