Vpap Adapt out for repair

Post by MagsterMile » Wed Oct 14, 2015 8:26 am

I brought my ResMed Vpap Adapt (S9) in for repair last week. The problem is that it was making a whining noise on inhale/exhale. The noise got progressively worse as time wore on. I took the machine back to the original DME and they said they would send it back to ResMed. I had to pay a $25.00 shipping charge upfront. I'm curious if anyone has had this experience with their Adapt.

Just out of curiosity how many blower hours on the machine? I've never had any problem with my Adapt but it has less than 3000 hrs on it. Hope you got a backup from the DME.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
