I was going to make you guys wait, but I won't be a "mean wader" as Linda likes to call me when she can't win an arguement.

Thanks for cheering me on!

Thanks Johnny and crew for doing what you guys do so well.
Sincerely,
wading thru the muck of the sleep study/DME/Insurance money pit!

Woo woo! Congrats, Wader.

I'm trying to catch up with you, but I'm not making much progress.

All hail, the king of cpaptalk!

Liam, a vain, pale shadow of Wader.

Mikesus, you're currently #6 all time poster. I'm #3. Rested Gal is #2, and of course Wader is #1.

However, now that you mention it, I'm watching my back.

Liam, who isn't even Avis yet to Wader's Hertz.

Congratulations Wader,
And thanks - not just for the number, but for all the good info, laughs, and everything else that those 1000 posts have contained.

You're all like a bunch of cpap machines....just blowing alot of hot air. All, except rested gal, who actually adds a tremendous amount of knowledge and intelligence to this board. Thank you so much, rested gal.

Just my opinion.

Guest,

You must be a cpap imposter! A cpap machine blows COLD air and anyone that ever has used one knows that all to well

I agree with your statement about rested gal.

We need a quality index for posters!

Liam joined after I did, and quickly passed me by. However, since he
doesn't get any sleep, I see why he posts so much. I am actually getting
2 or 3 hours of sleep!! We need to have a poll for
Who is the most knowledgable poster? or Who is the most helpful
poster? We already know who is the most entertaining poster? I think
Rodney Dangerfield died and came back as Liam.

Just an aside, should I be reading other forums/boards or is this by
far the best one out there? Which other ones do you regularly read?

It's ok to call me a coward, and maybe you're right on with that assessment. Or, maybe I choose not to be bombarded with tons of email or pm's from those that differ from what appears to be an unpopular opinion. Differing opinions and the right to express them is what makes the country I live in so great.

The fact that another poster is receiving pm's from people who are annoyed with "the old boys club' mentality of relatively few posters is testament to the fact that I am not alone in my opinion. I suspect that others in agreement don't post that here for fear of retribution, which is to their credit. I sincerely apologize for expressing this opinion if it leads into contant bickering. Let's not turn this wonderful board, and all the good that it has to offer into a flame war of sorts. It has done so much good for so many people.

Let's just agree to disagree on this, OK?

My votes:
meister wrote:Who is the most knowledgable poster?
Tie: SWS and rested gal (depending on the topic)
meister wrote:Who is the most helpful poster?
Probably Wader, but there are a number of really good regulars who are quick with a helping hand.
meister wrote:We already know who is the most entertaining poster?
Don't be so sure, if you mean me. I may be the most prolific in terms of attempts, but there are several folks on here who, when they try, are funnier than I am. I just fling enough attempts at the wall that sooner or later ONE of them is bound to stick.
meister wrote:Just an aside, should I be reading other forums/boards or is this by far the best one out there? Which other ones do you regularly read?
Thus far, I've felt little need to read any others. Every once in a while someone will post a cross-link to some important information on one of the others, and I'll go read it, but I've become quite fond of our merry little band, and so I see little point in going somewhere else.

Liam, flinging jokes like spitballs since February.
