Air sound

Post by NanetteT » Mon Sep 21, 2015 6:21 pm

I have started month two with my CPAP. The first month I used a nasal mask and now I am using nasal pillows. With both of them I sometimes get a very uneven sound from the air coming unevenly. It is like ch ch ch ch. Any advice?

No idea. But are you certain it is from the air, or might it be coming from the machine itself? Have you tried listening to the machine; i.e, without the mask on, turn the machine on and listening to it.. check the machine and also the air from the hose? It's worth checking that out. If it's a problem with the machine, check with your DME for answers. That is all I can think of. I don't hear my machine as I am sans hearing aids when I use my machine... so something has to feel different for me before I question anything.
