Why would someone with 10 fingers decide to put a O2 monitor on his toes. I tried it and had a hard time getting my shoes on. The 5 mile marathon made my big toe hurt.

I think it would be better to put it on your tongue, unless the piercings interfere. Jim

Because....... it's an accepted point to measure 02 saturation, especially where PAD is involved and differentials are common. (AFAIK) ~~ http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3278641/
