Hi all,
I recently purchased asoft cloth full face mask as i often sleep on my side and plastic mash are restricting and uncomfortable with your face side on on the pillow,
after 3 nights using the sleepwever i am a lot more comfortable with it and can wear it the whole night thru it leaks occasionally ifi lay on my back but after rolling back to one side it seems to tighten back up again.
the only downside i have found is iam getting slightly higher ahi readings on my resmed s9 when i check in the morning i ussually average 3-5 ahi but have been getting 3-8 ahi with the soft cloth? Iam wonderingif this is accurate or just some error in AHI when i get a leak?
any advice appreciated

Learning how to wear this mask is a little slower than with others, but you are coming along quite nicely.
Your nightly mask dance will become better and better with practice.

Thanks Chunky!
its only been 3 nights but so far very happy with the comfort,
Its great not having anything attached to your forehead
i take it you use the sleepweaver full face soft cloth? what is the life span of the mask?
Thanks!

Leaks will cause an increase in AHI

Welsh: I think chunkyfrog does use that mask. Look at her Avatar.... how on earth can she get any mask on that mug!?
I use a couple of masks on a frequent basis. I'll get different AHI readings and leak rates with each mask. Check how you feel. Do you feel better during the day with the sleepweaver mask? If so, as was stated, you'll get used to it and will be able to find your "sweet spot" with it in due time. I have aways wanted to try that mask... along with the Amara View. I just don't want to fork up the money, and not be successful with them It's all a gamble... I guess.

Re: Sleepweaver Anew Soft Cloth Full Face Mask
I used my Anew the last two nights because my nose was so sore. My allergies are acting up and my nose was hurting too much to touch it. I don't use it often but it is sure nice to have on hand. Just remember that this mask has to kept loose to minimize the leaks. I set my machine for mask fit and slowly tighten the straps until it seals. If it starts to leak again instead of tightening the straps just loosen them.
