What does the AFlex menu setting mean? It is set at 2. What would be the need to change. So far I don't think I have any issues other than I am trying a new mask soon. My machine is set 8cm to 14. AFlex at 2. The humidifier I have at 3, but still get dry mouth at times n
Diagnosed after home study with 37 obstructive Apneas. Indexed at 22 Per hour. Moderate Apnea. Have suffered migraines and waking up stiff and tired and at times with muscle spasms.

Aflex is a feature you set if you have trouble exhaling on Cpap... if you don't need it, turn it off.

Ty everyone. I will download the sleepyhead. Also I use chin strap and it seems my mouth is dry or hurts when I wake up, but only for a second or two. I wonder if its because my mouth is closed all the time with a strap and it's more a stiff feeling inside.

There are different chin straps out there, and you want to be careful not to get TMJ problems or something if yours is too tight. Have you ever considered a soft cervical collar that would keep your head up and airway more open, while also keeping your mouth closed?
