Really OT Cats
I know a lot of you have cats. I'm just curious because I have 2 and they are indoor only. I use Tidy Cat clumping litter and typically buy the instant action in 38 pound pail with the light blue cover. I bought 2 pails a month ago and the stuff isn't working! Doesn't clump urine litter and no odor control at all. I checked the web site and the recent reviews reflect what I am saying. Called Tidy Cats and they say nothing has changed! They are sending me coupons to replace both pails but I told them I can't continue to use a brand that sin't doing the job! I've been loyal since they came out with clumping years ago.
So my question is has anyone else had this problem and what brand do you use that really works well? Thanks!

Morbius, are you bored?

maybe the cats have adapted to it, like bacteria to antibiotics... you know cats love to mess with their petspostitnote wrote:I bought 2 pails a month ago and the stuff isn't working! Makes me wonder who's 'watering' the stuff (in the store?) and making more $$ in the process.
Re: Really OT Cats
I use Fresh Step multi cat. I have 5 indoor cats now (one died in December) and my husband hasn't noticed any issues. And I know that it seems to control the smell very well. I've never used anything but Fresh Step.

For dogs and cat owners who let their pet inside the bedroom, do they play with your cpap hose?

No, mine never have but they totally destroyed the wiring on my Dish satellite internet modem and chewed the antennae so bad I had to go buy a whole new modem so that I could have internet access last Christmas.Hensbili wrote:For dogs and cat owners who let their pet inside the bedroom, do they play with your cpap hose?
My dish receiver and modem are in my bedroom.
They have never messed with the cpap stuff though...long hose or mask or whatever and I just throw the mask and hose on top of the machine.

Re: Really OT Cats
Love seeing the posts from cat owners.....as I am a proud owner of 11 cats!! Someone had told me before I started using the cpap that it would scare them off the bed. They don't mind it. No, all 11 don't sleep with me. 5 usually stay in porch or garage at night. 3 on the bed with me. One tried playing with the hose, but thankfully stopped. Couldn't sleep without at least one cat with me!!

As long as the topic included cats and excrement, I see the CIA has tweeted a cat picture!

Thank you! I had to ask about the OP before too! I am not good at shorthand! I don't text or tweet, I seem to spell things out.chunkyfrog wrote:Off topic, so we do not confuse the easily distracted.

No worries cancun! Jargon is so widespread that no one can know it all.cancun wrote:Thank you! I had to ask about the OP before too! I am not good at shorthand! I don't text or tweet, I seem to spell things out.chunkyfrog wrote:Off topic, so we do not confuse the easily distracted.
I've asked similar questions in very technical venues.
The wiseass support people there responded and said I had PBCK...
that is to say a Problem Between Chair and Keyboard
Hey! I'm OLD, and I can be a Problem if I WANT to!
