See this? Airing Micropap
Anyone heard about this? I did a search before posting to see if there was any previous discussion.

Yeah ...well....for me, it just raises a zillion questions. Disposable, pressure settings, costs, comfort with the prongs up your nose, seal, obviously this would cover plain ordinary sleep apnea for pressures around 10 to cover the majority, I am guesssing; FDA approval can take forever so it'll take quite a while to get to market, how fast would this company be gobbled up a main player in the CPAP industry to either shut it down or for real development so why would individuals invest in the development, etc.....?
Thoughts, comments...???

Never mind, it would appear that the search terms I used to see if anyone had discussed this were not those used in an already existing discussion.

It reminds me of the nose piece that Lee Marvin used to play Strawn in the movie Cat Ballou.

They showed you the internal parts all except the battery, and how long do you think it would last.

I take back what I said in the other post, about "Pie in the Sky", they have polished the product hipe. It's now "Shined Up Pie in the Sky" We did class exercises in 9th grade economic like this, but our presentations were presented better. No doubt they will make money, but they will make no product.
They have no clue what it takes, but their victims don't either. Jim

I did a little digging and found that they're thinking around $3 a piece. It will be disposable and the battery will last only one night.
As far as funding the development with no product be produced, that is not how the Indiegogo generally works. Depending on the product, you generally have perk options. In this case, you might donate $100 and get 20 or 30 of these. If the product reaches it's goal, you get your product, if not you may then be out your money. Some of the campaigns offer refunds for incomplete funding, but that is in the fine print of each one.

Re: See this? Airing Micropap
I think the battery will be built into a large Dental MAD to keep you jaw forward and also supply power for the operation of the device. The wires could run up through your nose and also keep the device attached to your nose ... no strap needed.
The Exhale air will also spin a small turbine which will charge the battery .

If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!
