Clubbing with Apnea
Some things to consider when you are going to be going out clubbing and your sleep last night might have been good or so so.
1. Drink a strong cup of coffee. Make real coffee and put instant into it. You will be fired up to go.
2. They may not have coffee in the bar or club. It used to be that bars and clubs had coffee since it was believed that it sobered you up. It doesn't so they have largely stopped.
3. You should plan on two wines, or two cocktails max. You don't want to fall asleep at the club.
4. Identify sources of coffee. Is there a source of coffee on the block or next block. Some people step out for a smoke break, you can get your coffee.
5. So to sleep at 3pm and wake up at 8 pm. Use a sominex if you need to. (Sleep police, I don't want to hear it.)
6. Instead of having a rum and coke, just have a coke. You look like you are drinking, but you are getting caffeine.
7. Make sure you use your CPAP machine at all times, including naps. Get the maximum rest you can.
8. Keep aware of how you are doing. If it turns out that at 1am you are running out of gas and no amount of caffeine is going to help it is time to go home.
Well I am off clubbing.

Glad to hear you don't let CPAP control your life but rather, compliment it. Enjoy and be well!
