Devilbiss Intellipap Autoadjust use without sleep study

Post by Metalsleep » Fri Jun 21, 2013 1:53 pm

Hello,

I know I shouldn't use a CPAP machine by myself but the time to wait to have an appointment for the sleep study and the cost was a problem, so I'm using a Devilbiss Intellipap Autoadjust since three days.

My sleep seems to be better but I would like to know if the pressure needs to be adjusted knowing that my AHI level is 3.5 and that the current settings are : Lower limit 4 cm / Upper limit 20 cm? Thanks

You should download and install SleepyHead. The data it displays will be of great assistance
in deciding about pressure settings.

Here's SleepyHead:

And here's Pugsy's Pointers on the installation (on Windows) and use of SleepyHead:

SleepyHead can be installed on Mac and Linux, but others will have to advise on this.

Once you have all of this working (it's really not difficult), make a post with some of your graphs
in it. (The pressure, leak, flow, and events graphs are the most important.) If you don't know
how to post images, let us know.

Thank you very much for your reply, I installed it and I will post the results as soon as I have them.
