allergies are kicking my butt and making it difficult to use my nasal pillows
I never take these kinds of drugs...but I'm tempted now
any experience with any of these?
or should I just go el natural?
thanks

claritin vs allegra vs zyrtec
Re: claritin vs allegra vs zyrtec
I have taken all 3 over the past 15 years. Zyrtec seems to work the best for me, taken a few hours before bedtime. (Not everyday, but when I feel I need it.)
I also use a spray of Nasonex in each nostril, at bedtime everyday, and am able to use my pillows.
Edit: I should add that I have a severe dust mite allergy, so I need to deal with it year round. Most of my efforts are environmental (minimizing dust, using mite proof covers on mattress & bed pillows, washing bedding weekly in hot water) but I often need pharmaceutical help...

Re: claritin vs allegra vs zyrtec
Claritin works great for me but tends to keep me up at night. Zyrtec works just as good but I've slept better with it. I tend to avoid sprays in general as the pills do enough for me. I'm fortunate my allergies are short-term seasonal.

Re: claritin vs allegra vs zyrtec
I have chronic inflamed turbinates and the OTC stuff didn't cut it. I am now taking Singulair (a.m.) and Claritin (p.m.) and that has made a significant difference in my nasal stuffiness. I tried Zyrtec and Allegra but Claritin worked the best in conjunction with Singulair.
