And I thought I was addicted to World of Warcraft. That game doesn't even compete. Still don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing.

Re: Visiting the Forum
WOW huh! I haven't played it but I'm glad to see there's fellow gamer's on here! My husband is graduating in 6 weeks for video game animation and we both LOVE games!
Re: Visiting the Forum
Right now I'm playing LOTRO, I have tried WOW, but I wasn't too into it.
I'm a retired veteran of Dark Age of Camelot, Everquest, and Asheron's Call, AC being my overall favorite.

Logon name was the name of my 85 level paladin. Hubbs and I gave up the game about a year ago. Glad we did.
Before I terminated the game, she was the only character that I brought back from whence she was created. Northshire I believe it is.

Re: Visiting the Forum
By AC you mean assasins creed? My husband loved his xbox 360 games but hes now taking a likeing to PC games! Especially the ones available on steam. Hes been wanting to try LOTRO as well but hasnt yet. Personally, I love GOW! I beat all the three gears of war myself and loved them!
Re: Visiting the Forum
By AC I mean Asheron's Call. It was a very good early MMO produced by Microsoft, then picked up by Turbine.
LOTRO is fun and really immersive if one gets into Tolkien, The Free to Play model can work for a while, but subscribing is by far the best way to unlock all the game has to offer.

Ah I see! We both get into lots of different games but he loves RPG's and collects a lot of board games and comics and I'm a RTS girl myself. Hes been playing maplestory right now. I don''t know if it would be your type of game from what you listed but its very fun.

Re: Visiting the Forum
Looking at the poll.....I can't believe that people spend 3 hours or more a day on THIS forum.

Re: Visiting the Forum
I maybe visit 10 times a day -- but I rarely exceed 1 hour per day. Frankly, now that my sleep study is done, and I have had a machine for five nights, I'd expect my time here will decrease. The site is fantastically helpful, and everyone goes out of there way to share information. I hope I can give something back as I learn more.

Re: Visiting the Forum
@LSAT: You'd wouldn't disagree if you knew the dedication it takes to be a gamer 3+ hours for gaming is nothing. I can't remember the instance in WoW that it would take you at level about four - five hours to get through (the one in the swampy area, I can't remember the name). I'd rather sit on the cpaptalk.com forum for 3+ hours contributing and learning at the same time than spending it on a game that does nothing for me or my life, just gives me bragging rights, sexy armor and ALOT of frustration. Not that I've ever spent that kind of time on this forum
Now that I'm not working it depends. Like the post I started about pressure, it took me about four to six hours to write each post, because I try my best to communicate and get my point across as best as I can. Include in those hours the time spent getting the pics you want transferred from your file to Photobucket. For some, it may be easy peasie, for me it's not. If I'm researching something, that takes time also. Then there are those days where a quick pop in and pop out is good enough for the day. For me, it just depends. On that note, it's currently hard to answer my own post. Just being honest.

Re: POLL: How Often Do You Visit the Forum, CPAPtalk.com?
Maybe this site should give you little orc avatars you have to form parties for and then farm gear - which takes weeks.
