An interest in an S8 Auto?

Post by JeffH » Fri May 25, 2012 7:31 pm

Patty (my GF) got a new machine today, an S9 Elite. We are probably going to try and fine a good home for this S8 auto she has been using. We have another travel machine and she never uses the auto feature. Non smoking home, no pets, 6637 hours, has heated humidifier, hose and manuals. Probably would like to get around $300 for it. Let me know if you are interested.

I forgot, I also have the card reader that I'll include. Also it has about two years worth of filters that go with it.

Thanks

JeffH

You are very generous with other peoples equipment...how about you donating the "spare" you list in your profile?

Jeff, if the buyer of your machine miss set it and dies, however the spouse wants to sue you b/c of selling a defective machine. Does it pay for $250? I would not play around by selling used medical devices.

Avi..you did it again, pissed off a long time poster. For your information I have a used machine and have been using it every night, all night, for more than a year. Some of us are not fortunate enough to have insurance that pays for a new machine and don't have enough money to pay for a new machine. You have that "mouth in motion, mind at stop disease" again.
And by the way...I bought part of it from Jeff
Cheers
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

You should consider getting a late night spot on the comedy circuit. C'mon, the only way anybody could die from a CPAP machine would be if they got smacked over the head with it and even then that would be a far stretch.

Besides, I too have known Jeff for a long while and I'm certain he'd never purposely sell anything defective. And regardless, it is common knowledge that anything sold as used (medical or otherwise) is sold as is without warranty. That's just plain silly manipulation on your part -- I think you just want to add another free ResMed machine to that collection of yours. If you really want something for free to clobber yourself over the head with, send me your address and I'll mail you a genuine used ACME brick (donated as is of course).

Hi Jeff. I'm late to this party but thought I'd put my two cents in. In early April, also posted a for sale on the same machine:

Got two pm offers for under $200 so put the unit in it's carry bag into the original box and stored in a nice dry place. I plan to turn it on once every 2 months for a few minutes and hopefully will find a home for it. Good luck with your attempt to sell!

I bought an S8 Elite (not Elite II) with 53 hours on it last year for $150 shipping included.

Final price drop. I'll just keep it if it doesn't sell now.

$200.

My darling hubby still wears a used mask (donated).
He prefers it to the new one I bought.
Thanks again, kind benefactor.
