best way to post data results?

Hi there, I have 4 print screens of my detailed report on my desktop and am trying to figure out a way to show them here so I can get some feedback.

Should I add them to Flickr and then add a link here to each of the 4 pics?

I am most curious about the central apneas.

I snagged them and brought them over here. If you copy/paste the last line in photobucket little box of addresses..we can see the image without having to click on link.

Elle, How did your appt go with the sleep doc?
Any idea what the DME "tweaked"?
Do you know what your AHI was on your old machine?
I wouldn't worry too much about those centrals. They are happening in the early morning when you are probably more easily aroused and may be not breathing but are awake.
I am suprised that the DME or doc didn't raise your minimum pressure since you are never at 8.
My guess if she changed anything it was the EPR setting. Did the machine seem any different?

I don't bother with the report function in resscan. It just takes alot of time and space. If you uncheck snore and AHI in the detailed tab of that little graph icon to the right of the serial number, you can get all the info you need on one screen. You may need to tell it to display 6 graphs or traces, I don't remember what it calls them.

This box....the last line contains the IMG brackets..Click on that line once...it will say copied.
The just paste the whole thing..you will see the address and it automatically includes the IMG brackets.
Click Preview and the image will then show as it would be shown posted.

There is another way to do it involving the IMG brackets from the Editor (the line of stuff above blank posting area here)...but if you just copy that last line it saves you a couple of steps. People who don't use photobucket may have their IMG address in a different place on their host site...that is why I mention the IMG brackets. With Photobucket if you copy that last line..you automatically get the IMG brackets..Other hosting sites may not offer them. Then they have to copy the url address and create their own brackets.

This is what your post will look like until you hit submit. People sometimes think you have to see the image when you are composing but you can't.

Thank you. I will have to go over your instructions a few times. I have a cognitive deficit that comes and goes....gone right now.

My appt. was with my GP and I didn't get word back from the DME about which doc she sent the report to but apparently it wasn't my GP. GP asked if I would like to see the sleep doc again (saw him in 2006) but I told her to wait to see if I hear from him because I am assuming that is where the report went and once he reads it I can go from there.

I have no idea what she tweaked but I had a really bad night. I stayed in bed too long hoping for a chunk of decent sleep. I am hoping this choppy sleep is about my mask leaks (I have a pillows mask on the way). I didn't have this many problems with my nasal mask before but I will keep trying new things until I get it right.

I am a little ticked that my pressure has been set at 8 for years on my old F/P when I needed more (according to new data) but will just move forward and hope for improvements. It is sad that I have to depend on you generous people for my therapy. My family doc was interested in the fact that this was required and I think that is why she wanted me to see sleep doc again.

Don't worry about the posting of images. If you can get them to photobucket with a link to them...then we can snag them and put them on here for you if you can't get the hang of it.

It is just nice to have the images in front of us without having to click on a link. Easy to fix.

Your leaks aren't that bad.
You might contact the DME and TELL them to send YOU a copy of the report since they deleted that data from your card.
If you click on the STATISTICS tab, it will tell you what your EPR is set at. I don't know if it maintains older information as to what it was set at before your DME wiped your card. If she changed that "to make you more comfortable" that may be your problem. It can make you feel like you aren't breathing "right", and need to breathe when the machine tells you to. You can adjust it. Best to start low and see if you really need it. As long as you have been on cpap I doubt that you do... but with the increase in pressure, some adjustment time may help.
It's OK to be "ticked". That helps put things in perspective. This is not rocket science and you can manage it on your own, or at least be active in your therapy.

Liz, I think you are right. I will ask for the report. I had already told her to send it to me but she didn't. I think the DME told her she couldn't. I feel like I am putting her on the spot so maybe I will just ask the receptionist and she can pass it on.

It looks like EPR is off. I went back to each date since receiving the machine and before I sent in the card it showed "off" but now just says 0 CmH2o.

I don't know what EPR is. Sometimes the information just seems endless but I thought that of computers in general and now just learn bits at a time.

Elle, the only problem that I see in your graphs is hi Flow Limitation.




A BiPAP could reduce this FL better than an APAP.

I have a similar problem with my FL:




p.s. the snore spikes are from my sneezing inside the mask (even if raised the mask a bit from my face)

You know Avi123 I have asked for so much help here that I didn't want to admit that I have no idea what "flow" means and I was hoping it would all be clear to me once I read more on the forums and watch the videos. Now that you are mentioning it though maybe you can tell me what it means so I can bring it up with the sleep doc if I see him? Thanks.
