Most of you are a bunch of nice people!

Post by blakepro » Tue Mar 22, 2011 6:37 pm

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the members of cpaptalk.com for dedicating their time, thoughts, and energy to help countless people every day who suffer from various sleep disorders and are desperately trying to make sense of it all.

Without the members of this forum, I would still be in the dark on so many things regarding my sleep disorder and how to treat it effectively. With the information I have received here, I have received better results and improved health. I have also been able to feel less alone in this and find that being able to talk with others about the problems we each face has a tremendous value all on its own.

You dont have to be here. You dont have to spend countless hours each month typing out replies to people- trying to answer questions and help, but you do! Even when those questions are often repetitive as new people constantly flow to this place. Why do you do it? I dont know, but I think it has something to do with most of you being nice people that want to help others.

I just wanted to speak out and let you all know that I appreciate it.

Thank you
-Blake

I agree with Blake 100%. Most of you are a bunch of nice people.

Some times I wonder how some people could be so patient and answer time after time to the same question made by the same person, I know we forget what we have already asked and been answered for I have done it .

We are humans with our good days and our bad days and yes sometimes we say things in not the most kind manner. What is really good is that even if it have been long discussions on sensitive subjects at the end we all continue to be good to one another, that's wonderful.

The key of the matter is to never keep offense and I'm sure the gang here knows how to do it.

Thanks to every one here who had taken his/her time to answer questions and partake his/her experiences, it's because of it I'm today getting a good treatment.

Thanks guys!

I'd like to join my voice with Blake's and the others. I cannot imagine coping with all this without this forum and the generous responses offered here day after day...

This forum has been my internet home since I found it almost 2 years ago looking for solutions to minor mask problems. Really nice people here.

I agree with all of the positive remarks regarding the people of this forum.

I joined this forum in January and have little advice to offer anyone for I still seek a lot of advice myself. Still trying to work out what all the terms mean...

However, I will say, as I have said before-I have found the majority of the people on this forum go "above and beyond the call of duty" to help newbies and long time members who hit a "bump in the road"! I, too, would be totally lost without the help of people on this forum-AND ESPECIALLY PUGSY!!! That lady has put countless effort and hours helping me and I am so appreciative!!!

When I see negative posts-I truly wonder. If you post a question, receive feedback, (even if you don't agree) why can't you just be done with it and move on. No need to insult members on and on and on...

In closing I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to members of this forum!!! Please keep up the good work-there are a TON of people who really appreciate your advice and suggestions!!! I consider myself to be in the top 10 of your fans!!!

+1. Everyone's been super nice and helpful. I'm sure answering the same variation of questions that have been asked dozens of times before has to get old, but everyone seems to provide helpful answers with grace and kindness. It's a rarity.

I agree with Blake. I know that I could never have made it this far (started Jan. 26) without the help that I've received here and all of the information I gained from reading everything I could find on this forum. This is truly one of the best forums I've ever been a member of. Thanks a million.

Nancy

I would like to add my thanks and admiration to the very helpful folks on this forum. Most of us ( my hubby in this case) get sent home with a machine they've been given 20 minutes of instruction on, and told to use it. No support, no assistance, no guidance, no help in the middle of the night.

Without this site, and all the people who post such great answers and support, my hubby wouldn't have lasted three nights. With your help, we've solved mask problems, pressure changes, got the software, changed the ramp, and more. He's worn it seven straight nights now, and we feel like we're on the right track.

THANK YOU!!
