Resmed S9 autoset: Wrong sleep log

Post by kinggrayskull » Sun Mar 06, 2011 7:32 pm

Hi Cpaptalk!

I just recently bought a Remsed S9 Autoset. For the first time, I used it together with my Mirage Quattro Full Face Mask last night and actually slept for 6 hours. However, the screen shows that I only slept for 1.2 hours.

How do I fix this?

Thanks!

I suspect that the time is not set correctly and you slept over the 12 noon hour according to the clock. At 12 noon, the machine zeros out the day's values, and moves to the next 24 hour period. Check the clock setting first.

Hi Scrapper.

I can't seem to find the clock settings on my S9 machine.

I am now at View Settings and there isn't anything for time or clock.

Help! Thanks.

Weird - I was willing to swear one of the first things I did when mine arrived was to set the time. I just went through the patient menus and could not find this, nor does anything about it appear in the manual.

You may need to enter the clinical menu to set the clock. If so, that's really dumb. What about someone who travels halfway around the world? Having the clock off by 12 hours would really screw up the data, including compliance measures.

I no longer have my S9 or the manual, but have found ResMed machines to be set up the same........so try pressing the big round button and the down arrow at the same time. Look for Options--the time and date are in that section.

The issue becomes more apparent if you have the sw and are able to compare the time scale to your own clock.
You may still not have fixed your problem in the long run.
My S9 Autoset was delivered in the winter, but still set to daylight savings time. I found and modified the clock in the machine's clinical settings. But one day later it back ... that's because I took the SD card to the PC and back ... SD card settings apparently take precedence, and can only be modified in the ResScan program.

Did you press the center knob each time after changing the hour and minute? You have to explicitly make sure each individual setting gets changed before leaving the menu. Putting the SD card into your PC has nothing to do with time on the S9.
