Another Zen thread about not knowing the unknown.

Or, on the other hand, could there be some sinister undercurrent to this thread just below the surface? For example, could it be that So Well actually DID know the unknown message of the unknown topic before he made his post claiming not to know? And, therefore, could it be that I actually DIDN'T know, though I claimed I did? And, as far as that goes, was I claiming that I knew the unknown message of the unkown topic, or was I claiming to know already that So Well didn't know, just as he said, although he may actually have known? I have a feeling DoriC knows, and just isn't telling.

True story ... Many years ago I was reading "No Exit" by Sartre, and carried it around all over. One day I was getting into an elevator and somehow the book slipped and fell - right down the shaft where I could not get it back, and I thought that was pretty Zen too! Makes about as much sense as not having deleted the thread in the first place .

Julie, can you imagine what the elevator repair guys thought when they found your copy of "No Exit"?

This thread may be a dead end, but at this point there is likely no way out.

Even if only one hand changes its position relative to another, unmoving hand , a clapping sound will be produced.

Counting the earlier pages on this nontopic, or not? Or is that unknowable and best left unsaid?

I have been following this thread with great interest and would like to comment but am afraid I don't know what to say.
