What size bed do you have, and do you wish it was bigger?

Post by elena88 » Thu Sep 23, 2010 2:20 pm

Im just wondering what size beds you all might have..

As apneans we have these LONG tubes, and masks and such, and sometimes it gets a bit much sleeping with pets or mates..

I used to sleep in a full size bed with my husband for many years.. the only thing that could fit in the bed with us, was our pet bunny..

Now we have a queen, and since I got my apap, I put pillows down the middle of the bed to prevent "intrusions" into my

"tube territory!"

I wish I had a double queen bed, and all the dogs, cat and husband could mozy around comfortably... and me too with my little mask and hose..

So, what size bed do you have? Is it big enough? Do you wish it were bigger?

Queen. One spouse. No inside pets. I use a support to keep the hose high over the headboard where it can easily follow my tosses and turns. We lay a pillow on its' side between our pillows to block the mask exhaust. That takes up minimal space.

My husband and I have always slept on a California King. This allows us to cuddle when we want to, but to have plenty of personal space so we don't disturb each other's sleep. With CPAP this has really been a blessing, because even if I am facing him the vent outflow doesn't bother him.

No pets or small humans in our bed (not that they don't want to be there!).

Well, I ordered a double earlier this year (for me alone) but a week before delivery they called and said they were all out, would I take a queen at no extra charge.. so guess what I did! And the cats think it's great too!

Just me and my hose in my queen sized bed and I sleep in the middle....my hose is just long enough to go from my cpap to my mask

Queen size - though I don't know why I bothered since I tend to sleep right on the edge.

Full size, but I sleep alone. If I ever were to find a tall, handsome man to share my bed with, it would have to be bigger.

Full size, don't need it to be bigger, and do not even want a tall handsome man to share it with.

I'm 6'3" 235lb. I have a king Size. It's a memory foam thats about 18" thick. If I were asleep, my wife could jump up and down on her side and I would never know it.

Love my King, and so does my wife. We keep a pillow sidways between us to keep me from rolling all over her.

Queen size, brand new memory foam.
The grey fox (husband) loves it; and I'm pretty happy, too.
This is the first NEW conventional mattress we've bought since 1969.
We slept on waterbeds for decades; and finally switched.
Change is good.
