I say that even when it takes me awhile to understand some of the more esoteric commentary, I'm glad to have it, because I can learn so much from it.

Funny thing: there's quite a bit that the DME never told me....

Technical stuff is why I come here.

I may not always understand it at first but that is irrelevant

Please don't dumb down the forum to the lowest level of education/intelligence!

I'm actually kind of in between the first and second choices, so please feel free to use my quote as the first "you need to change the responses" response that poll-posters traditionally receive.

I sometimes like the technical discussions, but sometimes they get too detailed/technical for my preference. I usually skim through most of them, though, and often find a point or two in even the most technical discussions that is useful to me.

Sounds to me like you enjoy reading them and are glad they are here, even if you don't always read all of them. That would be choice number one, in my book.

I believe, if I remember correctly, that I set the poll up so that you could choose up to two of the choices if you wanted to. That way someone can vote and still comment on how nutty the poll is.

The poll has a pecan characteristic to it ... but I like almonds better ... if that is not getting too technical.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Well...okay, in the interest of full disclosure, I did vote for number 1 and did use my second vote, also...but not for number 2.

I think all discussions here are valuable. When we're totally new to therapy, everything's confusing because our brains aren't functioning well yet. As we recover and begin to think more clearly, the information available here makes more sense and sinks in.

Some of the technical discussions are still totally beyond me, but I sure hope they remain an ongoing element of the forum. At some point down the road, when I have the ability to process these discussions more fully, I can go back and glean more from the info contained therein.

I enjoy reading them as far as I understand (or at least think I do) most of the time. Even if I don't understand, I like knowing that someone does and that others are helped by them. Probably I am hoping that if I need help someday I can rely on people here to help. Needless to say, I have been helped tremendously by the discussions that were "technical lite". Think panty hose strap, for example.

Has anyone noticed that Catnap and Catnapper are 2 different people?

I enjoy them and think that they have helped me. Just because people don't post on a topic doesn't mean they aren't interested. We lurk and learn even if we don't have anything to offer on a technical subject.

Is that topic about sex considered technical?

Yes, technical discussions are fine... carry on.
