Protection of Bridge of Nose - New Product

Post by roster » Wed Oct 21, 2009 6:24 pm

I have no connection with this company and no comment about their product. I just ran across it on the internet and thought some of you may find it interesting:

The website asks you to sign up for a notification when they are in production and ready to begin shipping. I am sure they are working hard on the critical pricing decision.

Hopefully it works, even though thankyou.html is a 404.

Hmm, like permanent moleskin. Hope it works...

Whoever solves this problem should have a nice, little business. Is this the one? I hope so. I got my hopes up for the Friction Block, but that didn't do it.

Millich, I'm with ya. Friction block got me all psyched, couldn't wait to run out and buy it and try it, but didn't help at all.

Try Padacheek: http://www.padacheek.com

You might also experiment with cutting down a gel shoe insert. Since the website for this thing Rooster has posted says that's basically all it is. Looks very much like the things they sell for heel rubbing.....

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

Babette, I've tried padacheek, even for the trial where we had thicker padacheeks. A minor help, but doesn't resolve the nose bridge issue for me.

Maybe this is what my DME tech was talking about. She was trying to fit me with a Quattro (small and medium) two weeks ago and said there was something about the bridge of my nose that made it impossible to stop the leaks. I'm having this problem even with my UMFF. Anyway, she said they were waiting for some product that would help this problem.

I saw no real world address, person's name or phone number on the site -- I'm always wary of sites like that.
