I apoligize to Carbonman

Post by Brushy Hollow Bill » Sun Apr 26, 2009 3:00 pm

In an attempt to make a joke that went along with my usual rantings he hit a nerve and I went off on him. It was my fault and not his plus I had a bit of the vino so I was more agressive than usual if that is possible??
Trust me, the vino went in the garbage this morning and it will no longer have a place in my house. I also know it was playing hell with my sleep problem. I just got comfortable with a few glasses of the Local red each night when my sleep problem started. I thought it helped but when I look at the tapes it was like going up and giving King Kong a taser shot to the testes.

I do realize that we are all on journey and I do have problems. I will fix them but it will just take time.
If I get out of line shoot me a PM and cuss me out for being a butthead. No, I am not making you responsible for me, I am saying make me responsible for me.

I will do better.

The offensive thread.

I read the offending thread. I think it takes more than that to get to Carbonman. It was just a little misinterpretation. I would suggest making fun of his tight shorts that cut off his essential circulation.

Yeah. If that's an offensive thread, then elader and I should have been kicked off this board a long time ago, right elader?

Bill,

Carbonman can take a punch.

Let's don't start apologizing regularly here. It's better wide open.

If we wanted to be namby pamby, we would be over at one of those sweetly moderated forums. Yechh.

When my cpap isn't working, I'm just a cranky old fart.
If I had to rely upon my DME or my sleep specialist I would have given up about week 2....and it's been 9 years that I've been compliant.

Point is, all us cranky hosers should stick together. It's the only way I sleep well. And please be patient when I get cranky...but let me know.
Regards,
DaveL

Some people put those "BABY ONBOARD" signs on their car windows.

I have a custom made sign that says "CRANKY LARGE ADULT ONBOARD".

Yup, as with the theme of the other posts, that was tame - we have had some wonderful beat-ups here in the past.
Interestingly the protagonists often end up good friends - happened to me & snoredog, there was a time when it
was shoot to kill on sight, but in time we got to enjoy each other. I used to accuse him of being full of whisky
when he posted some of his comments (but never told him about the wines I had been imbibing ).

So if it makes you feel good to do a public mea culpa, do so, the intent is understood, but also, don't take things
too seriously (other than your therapy effectiveness )

Hey Bill,

That was you second apology in two weeks.

Well it's about time we all got that apology... (j/k)

Brushy Hollow Bill, I personally didn't see a need for an apology either. You and Carbonman were both wonderfully civil in that thread.

But at least this thread gave Wulfman a chance to FINALLY come clean.

Shortly after I made that post, I saw that our old sweetie, Slinky, had made a post in this thread.

So, I'm glad to see she's not far away.
