I'm Pregnant!!

Post by mbridget » Wed Jan 07, 2009 10:50 am

I honestly credit my CPAP therapy to getting me healthy enough for pregnancy. We had been gearing up to try (no contraception) for over a year but we were afraid that I wan't healthy enough. You know - tired ALL the time, NO short term memory, etc...youv'e all been there. My hormones were all out of wack and I thought it was going to take forever to get pregnant. I have been feeling so good on my CPAP that I said - let's give it a shot and BAM! PREGO!!

Ps. the second I told my sleep doc - he wrote me a script for Full data, EPR, Auto titration. My hubby was with me and when we got out the the car he said " Nothing like the fear of insurance liability."

This is our first. We had a few things working against us. I am 35, have PCOS, overweight, and I didn't sleep for sh*t!

Congratulations, and as jnk mentioned, you are now breathing for two (so it's a good thing you can properly oxygenate yourself at night now!) I don't know what PCOS is - but I pray you have an uneventful pregnancy and a very healthy child.

Psalm 127:3-5 says - "Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate." (Of course the "sons" applies to daughters too - both of mine are girls!)

Congratulations again,
Tracy

Congratulations!! I remember those days quite well and they exciting indeed. Enjoy and make memories.

OK, Listen up all you out there who want but can't get an APAP ! We now know the code to get your doc to write the script. All you have to do is tell them you are pregnant and demand all the toys you want. Might even throw in an oximeter to be sure! Go get 'em - CHARGE!

If you think you did not sleep before having kids. Just wait . Best of luck. Have a happy healthy new year.

Congratulations!

That's certainly good news to offset what elader posted about his co-worker!

Shouldn't be a problem as long as your gender is "N/A."

I'm also still new....though would it be so bad if I did get pregnant? I'm sure it would silence the nagging from my mom on when is she going to get grandchildren.
