Do you prefer the Direct Seal or Nasal Pillows? Why?
I'm asking because I am going to buy this mask, and I want to weigh my options on the nasal interface choices.

I like the cushion, as I couldn't tolerate so much direct air shooting into my nostrils with either the pillow or direct seal. I was hoping the direct seal would prove helpful, but just didn't work for me personally.
Of the two, if I could use either one, I'd go with the pillow. The direct seal didn't seem to feel stable enough to stay sealed.
YMMV....Good luck!

Having used all of the three choices the direct seal, nasal prongs and the cushions. I preferred the direct seal. All come in a variety of sizes. Since the direct seal is only one little cup can be pivoted around on the adapter part it can be adjusted to suit you. I felt even moving around at night that the chances of losing a seal with something going around just my whole nose was less than the others that were small going around each nostril. Any my nostrils became irritated with the cushions even without a runny nose. I did learn that making any mask tighter was not the thing to do to get a good seal. It only compounded any problems
For some reason aprea took a stupid pill and never could send me another direct seal. After 3 x of receiving three wrong shipments I told them to just forget it and had them send something totally different. After trying the Opus and some other mask I tried the Optilife and it has been okay. Not the greatest but it'll work . I like that it's not very constricting. Maybe I may bring my old direct seal in again and give them another chance to get it right. Thank you for bringing up this post. I do remember having pretty good results with that.

I have also tried all three. I prefer the nasal pillows. I've never had a problem with them sealing, no matter what position I sleep in.
