2 Questions - Swift II and Teflon Tape - Noise Opti Vs. Swi

Post by Sasquatchbreath » Wed Sep 12, 2007 3:41 pm

I just got bumped up from an apap pressure of 5/13 to 9/17 and my nasal pillows are whineing/whistleing

I'm going to get some teflon plumbing tape bt wondered exactly where folks are putting it.

On the blue cap? In the peice on the headgear? anywhere else?

Also on a side note..... anyone that has used the optilife and swift II, which is quieter?

It doesn't take much. I put a little around the blue cap towards the end that you see when it is inserted and the same on the supply input hose. Don't put too much around the supply hose or it won't swivel. Took care of my leaks.
