If you still want to sell...

Post by girlsaylor » Tue May 08, 2007 7:36 pm

I have been looking for a used M series humidifier for travel for myself. I currently have the F&P HH, which I love, but for visiting family and land-based vacations, I want the M series HH, so I can fit it in my bipap bag, which the F&P does not. If you are interested in selling just the humidifier, should you go with a different brand unit, let me know.

Keep it

Post by GoofyUT » Thu May 10, 2007 8:25 pm

As many of us have tried to tell you, KEEP IT, FER CHRISSAKES!!!!

It'll make a perfectly good back-up/travel machine that'll be worth far maore than the crummy $250 that you're trying (unsuccessfully) to sell it for, when your shiny, new APAP craps out, is recalled or when you have to disconnect and pack it up for travel purposes.

But, do what ya gotta do.

I will let this thread slide down and away.

The reason I am selling is that I decided to upgrade to next model...Pro with smartcard software recording.

Ummm... you do know that the Plus and the Pro are only one smart-card module away from being the same exact thing right?

cpap.com has the M-series smart-card upgrade module w/card for $58. you're buying the exact same thing... with a $48 adaptor & $10 card in it.

Forget the new machine, just get a module/upgrade!

I wouldn't consider being without a backup machine.

Unless you can provide me the documentation to back it up, that's not true. A plus, with or without smart card module, can only record compliance data. It's been brought up several times here. See:

just a report from e-Bay

Heated Humidifier for Remstar CPAP- M series sold for $305

(believe it is only in wording but the pix show all, including the CPAP)

so $250 is a bit too much ?
