Try Craig's List in your area. You can sell it locally and they do allow the sale of cpap machines on their site.

SOLUTION to your problem!!!

You can purchase the M series smart card module for the M series plus and it will hold the same functions as the M series pro.

Check out cpap.com and search for product Part Number 1027563.

Hope this works!!

NO, IT DOESN'T!
All you get from a PLUS model is compliance data......PERIOD!

Actually the M series smart card module will store the same information on the card as the M series pro. I should know as I checked with the manufacturer.

Oh, I'm sure that's the final word on that one then.....

Many/most "Plus" machines come with a smart card.....and ALL they record is compliance data. It does NOT record apneas, hypopneas, snores, etc. The old saying about making a silk purse out of a sow's ear applies here.

The recording "characteristics" for those capabilities are not part of the smartcard module.....they're part of the motherboard and related chips and sensors.

Actually Wulfman- You are right!! I double checked and I am wrong- SO don't listen to my advice on the m series module and Good luck trying to sell on a site. I have seen machines sold on craigslist. But I agree with a previous poster about keeping it as a backup.

Bob,

I hated to get into a "shouting match" with you, but that issue has been discussed many times before.....and all with the same outcome. Unfortunately, some ended up spending good money to find it out.

Best wishes,
