I KNOW my leaks are to high. I just got 5 masks to test to try and bring it down. a while go i tried to tighten up my settings to agoid pressure swings, because I was an am getting trapped air...... I did the wrong thing.
my current settings are
Pressure Settings
Min EPAP 5.4 Max IPAP 18.8 PS 6.0-12.2 (cmH2O) I do have days with ahi below 5 some below 1. but also have uncontrolled days,
I am working on the leak, but I think I need to change settings as well. Looking for recommendations,

Re: messed up my settings
I was just thinking, over the past few months i have gone from. 225 lbs to 198. No longer obese, just overweight. Maybe i can use lower pressures, i can only hope.
Maybe without all of that fat around the belly keeping it restricted the cpcp belly is worse.
I struggled with it a few times since 2002 when i started cpap, but never this bad. Today my alarm went off at 8:30, i took antigas, and at 11:30 i am still belching.
I have looked at other posts on cpap belly, i am going to try changing some things:
- i am a belly sleeper, i can see how the machine needs higher pressure to pick up my whole (200 lb) body. I will strap a pillow to my belly so i cannot turn over.
- i read up on tongue exercises and I’m starting to do them now.
- i will continue to look for a mask to deal with leaks. It will probably be easier if i don’t sleep on my belly.
