My same newbie post. Continuing to update
This is my first night and it's a fail. Airsense 11 shuts off because of leak. Says check tubing. The same thing happened with the test drive and when I went back to show them it of course didn't happen at the office! Now here I am at home and it isnt working again. Kinda PO'd. UPDATE: So the leak is at the tub. You have to really jam it in. For a $1000 machine that's BS. The other question I have is how do you know it's on? There's no power light and it's so quiet I'm not even sure. MORNING UPDATE: Thanks for your help. The mask was blowing and the machine tried. I just was wide awake all night. I think as soon as I open my mouth I wake up from the hiss of air. This is gonna take some getting used to ... What's the average amount of time before things start working?

Re: Super frustrated with dreamwear nasal and airsense 11
Both of those things are good when you're trying to sleep.Trainer4346 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 8:20 pmThere's no power light and it's so quiet I'm not even sure.
You'll know it's on when it blows air up your nose.

Pull the mask just a bit away from your nose: If the machine is on, you'll feel a blast of air as the machine compensates for the leak you just created.Trainer4346 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 8:20 pmThe other question I have is how do you know it's on? Touch the screen. If the machine is on, the display will show the current pressure.

You will have to solve the mouth-opening problem. A full face mask (covers nose and mouth) is one solution. Others - taping mouth shut, wearing a cervical collar, wearing a chinstrap.Trainer4346 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 8:20 pmI think as soon as I open my mouth I wake up from the hiss of air.
When your mouth opens while using a nasal-only mask, the therapeutic pressure is likely to be lost.
It's a statistic that means nothing to any individual case.Trainer4346 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 8:20 pmWhat's the average amount of time before things start working?
