OSCAR Question

Post by jeffdanger » Mon Dec 28, 2020 5:54 am

Last night I had two sleep sessions interrupted by a two minute lapse where I turned off the machine and turned back on. All the files are on the sd card but OSCAR is only reporting one session--the first one that was one hour 40 minutes. The second session that was 5 hours 50 minutes is not being captured. I've never seen this happen before as most of my sessions are two or three nightly and it always combines all sessions.

Any ideas?

Any ideas? IHere is the session data and the files on the sd card. I also purged the day and reimported but same thing.

In OSCAR, delete the days data and then re-import.

There is a purge feature in OSCAR and you can select the date to purge.
It's under Data and then the Advanced choice in the menu.
It just removes it from OSCAR...then do another import from your SD card and see what happens.

Is your machine set to DST and your computer to standard time, and did you load your SD card into OSCAR less than one hour after you stopped using the machine? In that situation, the last session is not imported. The workaround is to wait an hour and import again, and/or reset your CPAP time to the same as your computer. This problem has been fixed for the next release of OSCAR.

Thank you, Blue Dragon, you have solved the mystery! When DST went away recently, I didn't bother to change the time on the CPAP. I see now that I couldn't expect the program to import something that technically hasn't happened yet.

This is a great group and I thank you all for your participation.
