pardon me?

if you can take a screenshot of your graphs and post them here, then yes, people can look and see and comment.

please read this on how to organize your charts-

wiki/index.php/Oscar:organize

good luck!

Could you post a screenshot of the Daily Chart for a typical night? Do read this first:

http://cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t88983/Pu ... Hints.html

And what has prompted your question? That is really important to explain.
Oscar software is available at https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

How do you intend for someone to read the card with no information to go on at all? We'd like to help but you haven't even given the name of the machine you use, or what program. Have you read the notes at the beginning of this forum explaining how to post info here for people to advise you on? We can't just 'read' your card long distance with no info at all and I'm not sure if a phone transmission would work in any case.

If you're having trouble with Cpap or Apap, tell us in detail about it... we may be able to help without needing to see the card. Are you not sleeping well? Does your mask (which one) fit well? Which machine are you using - model, etc? More info please!

Do you know how to get into the clinical menu on the machine? There are reports that give you a good bit of data. Let us know a bit about the data you see there. AHI, leak level.

Instructional videos to access the clinical reports are on youtube. One example - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrNaoD783Po

please forgive my assumption.

i'm not sure how you can proceed from here. but we will need to see data of some sort. each of us is different and the data produced will be different as well.

tell us what the machine is so we can tell you how to access some of the data. the machine display will give some (though not all) of the numbers.

at least that will give forum members someplace to start.

There is some limited data on the machine's LCD screen.
The manual will explain how to get it.

The Respironics DreamStation Auto machine has a setting in the clinical setup menu (get the manual if you don't have one... https://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap- ... tup-manual which explains how to get to the setup menu area)...you have to turn on the setting called "Show AHI"...then you can see the limited data it offers.
Extremely limited
AHI
percent of time NOT in large leak
90% pressure numbers
that's the extent of the data.

There is no way for any of us to see what your SD card contains without us having the SD card in our possession or at least a copy of it and without a computer and someway to get the SD card contents to us...we can't do much.

But there might be enough data on the machine's display to help you out. Go look.

Ok managed to get some data. Ahi 1 day 3.1 ...1 week 7.3 ...30 days 4.3 90% pressure ,1.day 6.5 ..1 week 7.. 30day 7.8 ..mask leak .90..91 96. I'm receiving new small full dream face mask next week. The medium mask is to big. My settings pressure is 5 to 12 . Aflex 2 Auto CPAP . Have I missed anything? Thanks again

Your mask leak is high. Have you watched some videos on youtube about fitting and adjusting the Dreamwear FFM?

Hopefully, this will help address the high mask leak.

My settings pressure is 5 to 12 .
Please clarify what your 90% pressure statistic shows.

Your AHI is a bit too high. Most people here like to get it under 2.0 or even 1.0.

With your high leak and no data from OSCAR, it's a bit of a shot in the dark, but I would like to see the minimum pressure raised to 7.0 on a trial basis. It can always be turned back to 5.0. For the typical patient, a minimum pressure of 5.0 is not high enough for optimal results.

You seem pleasant to work with.

The DreamStation leak number are percent of time with not large leak detected.
So the leak numbers are actually quite decent if they are in the 90s. 90% of the time no large leaks and only 10% of the time in large leak and probably barely into large leak territory at that. The software if you could use it would show it but I don't worry about 10%.
Now if you were seeing 50%....then I would worry.

Older Respironics machines reported 90 % leak number in L/min and 90 would be most likely large leak territory at your pressures.

Without knowing what kind of events you are having I don't know if more pressure will help or not but since we have no other choice in this situation...you might try a little more minimum and see if the AHI comes down.
If the AHI is composed of mainly Obstructive Apneas and Hyponeas...it should reduce a bit but if it is mainly central/clear airway apneas it won't reduce because more pressure won't fix centrals.

Overall though...not bad numbers. Maybe slight room for improvement but far from horrible.

How are you sleeping and feeling?

I'm been awake due to the mask. I have to constantly adjust it. I used a chin strap last night which seems to have stopped the mask from moving up my nose I have improved a lot. I should have small face mask next Wednesday. I have also been offered the use of a laptop from a neighbour next week so hopefully I can teach myself to use Oscar.so the future is bright. I'm in a trial and error phase.the cervical collar brought my ahi down to 2. But I think it was the wrong one. I will try a softer one .thanks for all the advice.

sounds like good news in there. glad the cervical collar helps. and yes, we are talking FOAM cervical collar.

and it's good you have access to a laptop! if you have any problems with oscar, ask them right here and we'll try our best to help. don't worry about understanding what the graphs say. i don't understand much of it myself. :D but we just need to get you to the point where you can upload a couple of nights worth of data. then the experts can get to work on it.

sounds like you are making progress.

good luck!
