Anyone on this site use the So Clean 2 device for cleaning your CPAP mask. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Richard

As per THEIR OWN DOCUMENTATION, it does NOT clean.
But they will be happy to sell you additional products to clean it with.

There are a few members here who use it.
Not many though. Most don't.

What are your goals...are you wanting to avoid washing the grime off your mask? It won't/can't remove facial oils, grime, dirt, slobber, snot or whatever....you still will have to manually wash the mask to remove any accumulated gunky stuff.
SoClean tells you this and will even sell you a high dollar "cleaning solution"....but most of us use soap and water.

Now as for the claims for nuking/disinfecting/killing germs and bacteria....they claim it will do that but I haven't seen actual lab test petri dish growth reports and as far as I know we don't have any forum members who do use the device who have actually tried to verify the killing results by swabbing their gear to see if anything grows in a petri dish or not.

Lots of past "discussions" about it though. Some quite heated.

This one requires an add-on device (sold seperately) called SoO2 to provide the oxygen necessary to counteract the negative effects of the CO2 from the dry ice.

I don't know where you get this from. The link to documentation is https://www.soclean.com/support/soclean-lab-results/

It comes down to this, either you believe the documentation or you don't. Some people don't believe the earth is round either. ..

My understanding is that soclean2 is a sanitizer. So you still need to clean your equipment. Sanitizing your equipment is just additional to cleaning.

I agree. I live in the Pacific Northwest. It rains here a lot. I mean a lot. Nothing air dries, everything molds. I've read the countless posts about how it is your own germs, but I prefer not to breathe mold into my lungs. I still use a CPAP wipe to remove facial oils, but I use the SoClean to kill the mold on everything else.
