Re: How to clean out black grime, inside AirSense 10's unopenable motor chamber?

Never any wildfires, prevailing smoke, or smog in my area. I don't live in the city. Never SoClean or ozone. My foam is in mint condition. Amazon doesn't sell official replacement motors by ResMed. Thanks for your link, but it's unofficial and made in China. I am afraid ...

Re: How to clean out black grime, inside AirSense 10's unopenable motor chamber?

A couple questions......
- Do you live in an area where there are wildfires and prevailing smoke? City smog?
- Do you use a SoClean or other similar CPAP cleaning device?

Re: SoClean 3 - safe to use?

Thank you, Dog Slobber.

That paper is worthy of a thread with its own name, something like "Worried about cleaning your equipment? Read this!"

A gem!

Re: SoClean 3 - safe to use?

I feel that some "dirt" is beneficial by exercising our immune systems,
but knowledge of the processes is useful if they are needed--but only then
For example, I became much more conscientious during chemo.
After chemo, I welcomed my first runny egg in months.
And tap water!

This is also a good opportunity to put you at ease about CPAP cleaning: SoClean (and other sanitiser manufactures), DMEs, and some CPAP users, fear-monger and overstate the necessity and thoroughness of CPAP cleaning. This ...

SoClean 3 - safe to use?

Hi, I'm new to using my cpap and it's going great. At the suggestion of a friend I ordered a SoClean 3 cleaner/sanitizer. It arrived and then I heard about the voluntary recall having to do ozone leakage. I called SoClean and they said it was a voluntary recall and that ...

Re: Orange stuff in hose and mouth after use

I recently have orange colored stain inside my pillow cushion and the tube attached to it. I've never used SoClean, so I don't believe it's due to ozone breakdown. I have used a UV wand to sanitize my tubes before. The orange discoloration happened to all 3 sets that I packed ...

Re: Orange stuff in hose and mouth after use

I have used a UV wand to sanitize my tubes before. Much like SoClean, the UV wand could very well damage the tubes. The UV is definitely not strong enough to sanitize anything though. If it were, it would be regulated as dangerous. I am in Central Virginia ...

... so I don't have that problem. Just because you don't see the need or the value.....doesn't mean it isn't there. I agree with you as I don't need a soclean, nor a humidifier, nor supplemental oxygen, nor heated hoses, etc., and yet, I'm sure there are benefits to others of each. Lots of masks come ...
