If it's a Philips Respironics machine, it will probably work fine with any SD card 2 GB or bigger. Almost any SD card reader that works with your computer will also work fine.

if it had a card when you got it .... that card can be erased and used again.
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Depends on which machine you have... your description is vauge. All of the PR line are called Remstar somewhere in them. There are a few A-Flex machines... a 560 a 550 even a much older M-Series machine which doesn't use an SDCard but rather a SmartCard instead.

Typically on the bottom of the machine (after you remove the humidity tank if you have one), will be the model number on the blower unit (not the humidifier).. Might have DS in front of it might not.

Assuming it is an newer machine, the SDCard can be read in any computer that has an SDCard in it. Many laptops do as well as desktops. If they don't you can get an inexpensive one for not a lot of money. You can even get some that are a USB plug with various SDCard slot types.

That is a fully data capable APAP. The newest model is the 60 series 560P that mainly allows connection of a heated tube humidifier, but has some other improvements. The 550P is a very good machine and will give excellent auto PAP therapy and can provide comprehensive data on the SD card that can be uploaded to Respironics EncoreBasic or Sleepyhead software.

Use the links in my signature to download the clinical manual and obtain the latest version of Sleepyhead. That way you can monitor progress and learn to make changes to improve results.
