got my resmed s9 ? about leak

Hello,
I picked up the s9 elite yesterday and used it last night. On my resmed s8 my leak, with the same mask I am using was only 0.2 Now with the s9 it's reading 4l/s. Would have to double check to see if it's L/s, or L/m, but I think seconds. Could my leak be worse with this machine. Mask fit says excellent. Do have the new slim line tubing.

It's 4 Liter per Min and it's good b/c it is below 24 L/Min, the allowed maximum.

When I started CPAPing at the beginning of 2011, I had lousy results using my S9 Elite and a full face Fisher & Paykel mask. Looking back at it I can't believe it how bad they were:







Compare those results to my present data with my present machine, new mask, and higher pressure:

The S9 reports in liters per minute. Your S8 reported in liters per second.
With the S9 your leak number to avoid is 24 L/min...so your 4 L/min means minimal leaks .

24 L/min is the same as your old number to avoid with the S8 of 0.40...just multiply liters per second by 60 seconds.
