and another thing, these absolutely work guys, i've had mine already for a few weeks almost and i haven't had anymore rainout since. they are very, very well made, and are extremely well priced with fast shipping. you would be hard pressed to find a better deal elsewhere.

hose covers
This is another testimonial for Offenrocker's hose covers. They were delivered promptly and were well made. Good luck, Kathy.

Jack, you will need to check out those offered at CPAP.COM.Anonymous wrote:How do these compare to the ones availiable on CPAP.com?
Thanks!
Jack
I can tell you about mine:
They are made of quality fleece, and have what I call a 'collar' at each end, which is reinforced, and has a color-coordinated (when possible) 'tie' encased so that it can be tied tightly to the hose connectors, avoiding any shifting. I've also included a woven 'handle' at the ends. These make it easy to put the hose in: I hang the "Comfort Sleeve" by the 'handles' on a hook, or hold it up, and then just drop in the hose - gravity does the rest. Then then handles are tucked inside the sleeve. Patent pending.
I also offer a large inventory of colors.
If you PM me, I can email you a couple of pictures if you'd like.
Web Site is incomplete at this time.
I'm happy to report great feedback from members of this Forum who have purchased my "Comfort Sleeves".
That's about all I can say; I am able to sell these from this Forum by the graciousness of Mr. Johnny Goodman, owner of CPAP.COM. Check out theirs also; I believe they use a suede-like material which is very nice, but of course I am not knowlegable on the design, etc.
Thanks for your interest!
Kathleen

I'm curious why you asked then... I was only being my sarcastic self, MadDogz; I bet YOURS are the ones generating all of that extra heat They probably enjoy the heat from the hose also.MadDogz wrote:That's OK. I can't even use my humidifier when it's warm, let alone a hose cover - I feel like I'm suffocating.
Do you think the temperature may be too high on your humidifier? Just a thought.Plus, real Dachshunds are better than picture Dachshunds anyway!
Good luck!

I am ashamed to admit that I do have a hose cover, but it is not really a quality product. I wish I would have known about yours before I bought the other one. Anyway, I ripped it off one night when the air I was breathing was too warm. I have always had a problem with breathing warm air. When I was a kid, my sister and I would have nightly wars about how far to open the heat vent in our second story bedroom. She wanted it all the way open and I wanted it all the way closed. Whoever could stay awake longer and move the vent to their position was the one that won.
When the cold northern plains weather returns I will probably need multiple hose covers, and to you I will go, so if you see fabric with Dachshunds on it, let me know!! BTW, the little 'hot' dogs (haha!!) don't really like the hose or the machine or the stuff on 'mommy's' face. I think they think it's eating me.

Warning!!! Sleep deprived Dachshunds growl and bite! (They aren't nearly as mad as they used to be!)
