MyEncore v 1.5b7 for Encore Pro 1.6i

This is my first post, but I've been reading from this site since my first sleep study 7 weeks ago. Thank you to all of you that continue to answer newbie questions day after day. You have been a great help to me.

I want to get the Encore Pro software and card reader. I noticed the current version is 1.6i. I've also read in other posts that I will need the MyEncore version 1.5b7 that goes with this version of Encore Pro (please let me know if that is not correct). However, the link on Derek's website is for MyEncore v 1.4. I can't find a link for MyEncore v 1.5b7. Does anyone have a link for this version of MyEncore?

Thank you. I still need to buy the Encore Pro software, so I can't install this yet. I noticed the size of the file is much smaller than the file for the 1.4 version of MyEncore. Is this an upgrade file? Do I need to install the 1.4 first, then this smaller file . . . or can I install this new 1.5b7 file directly after loading Encore Pro?

That was me in the previous "Guest" post.

You will have to use the 1.5B7 with any version of Encore Pro greather than 1.499. In other words, don't install the 1.4 version of MyEncore if you are installing Encore Pro 1.5i or 1.6i.....won't work. I don't know why it ended up being a smaller file, but it is.....and apparently works fine.

Yes, you'll have to wait till you've downloaded some data from Encore Pro before you can install the MyEncore.

Does "My Encore" work with the new "M" series Remstars yet? And if not, does he plan an upgrade that will?

Most of the Magic "M", machines only show compliance data so the software is useless unless you have a machine built it give data. Jim

1.6i is really 1.6.22 and mine won't work with MyEncore. Several of us have given up.

If anyone with a kind heart and patience would care to assist ....please let us
know...edro and I tried a couple of things, nothing seems to allow us to combine them. THEN I tried uninstalling 1.6.22, then installing the older
version of Encore Pro...I couldn't do that either. Too many meds I guess.

Good luck with it, I even emailed Derek, seeing if he would like to make a
cameo appearance, but no luck.......so I reloaded 1.6.22 and it works fine.
But I would love to see the trends MyEncore generates.

dllfo, are you saying you could not get MyEncore 1.5b7 to work with Encore 1.6i? Because Den posted that those two should work fine together.

dllfo seems to be one of a very small minority who has had problems installing his MyEncore. Ever since the 1.5i version of Encore Pro, there have been "quirks" to the installations. So much depends on how a person has his/her computer configured and what all is running on it. "All things being equal", they WILL work together (according to all the users on this forum who are using them).
On the other hand, I am still using Encore Pro version 1.4.99 and MyEncore version 1.03 that I installed over a year ago. Respironics introduced the 1.5i version for their new Bi-PAP Auto machine and the 1.6i version for their new "M" series. Since I didn't have either of those and my setup worked well, I decided not to complicate my life any more than necessary by trying to upgrade.

Den is a lot smarter about this soft ware thing than I am. But others with 1.6.22 cannot get it to load. Thank goodness I am not the only one...

If you have 1.6i.....then go inside to help and click on it. It will tell you 1.6i
is 1.6.22 ..........

And Den....I sure wish I could figure it out. All the helpful clues, etc. don't
seem to work, but I also think YOU are right...lots of little things in my computer might need to be tweaked.

I sincerely hope AHIgoingdown can install it and have it work great.

edro is having trouble with his installation too...and others too.. Meanwhile
I get some weird readings day to day....my AHI from 7.9 to 20.2...

I have a copy of the providers manual, maybe I can learn more from it.

David, if you at least have the Encore Pro installed, that's a good thing. At least you have something to monitor your statistics. The MyEncore makes it nicer to see the graphs, but even without it you can see what's happening.
Hope you get it figured out some day.....don't despair.
