Today is Limerick Day

Post by kteague » Mon May 13, 2013 10:25 am

We've had fun with this in the past but it's been a while, so how about another round? I'll kick it off.

There once was a gal oh so sleepy
Whose snoring made her sound quite creepy
She made friends with a hose
That perched on her nose
She's so happy it makes her feel weepy

OR...

There once was a board called cpaptalk
To help those who at treatment did balk
To try and get it right
In the dark of the night
Already this journey they did walk

These two came quickly to mind and were easy to rattle off. I look forward to reading others...

There once was a board full of hosers
Who needed to breathe through their nosers
The sleep doc said, "Hey,
If you wanna see day
You'd best use this and not be a poser."

There once was a board for the hose head
Who wanted to live and not be dead
The cpap machine
To her sleep brought a sheen
As she rested all night in her bed

There once was a forum owner named Johnny
Who years of Tae Kwon Do had made brawny
When the masses would get rowdy
He'd pop in and say, "Howdy!"
But otherwise he kept his head down-y.

There once was a young girl from Texas
Who met a boy who made her quite breathless
He seemed like a Good man
So she gave him her hand
And the rest of the boys she rejectus.

There once was a man who snored',
So his wife just bitched and roared
This is your task
you must wear a mask.
Or peace you will have no more.

There was a young gal from Missouri
AHIs whipped her into a fury
When a problem she hears, she responds without fear
Though tireless, her eyes may get blurry.

She calls herself Pugsy I'm told
No request for assistance grows mold
Though many are grateful, a few do seem hateful
She helps them, the young and the old.

A question might sometimes cause boredom
Now and then in our nice little forum
They refuse to search posts for the answers to most
Of the usual questions that brought them.

Windy and wet was the storm.
Feeling worries and fret... not the norm.
I bolted upright,
but to my delight,
'twas rainout, I'm in bed and still warm!

Hello kteague,

Thanks for starting this!

Along came an equipment provider,
His goal was to make usage wider
Users up every night
Took the help from this site,
Now their cpaps are sweeter than cider.

- and this one, I just can’t resist.

There once was a poster named Moe-lett,
Took another’s idea and stole it,
Out of the blue,
And with help from a few,
Got the Webmaster’s sticky to hold it.

To get sticky is tricky
We all need more rest
So on with the test
They only sticky the best

There once was a cpaptalk forum
That sometimes ran short on decorum
But fine people there
Show how much that they care
You got questions? They never ignore 'em

Another one for fun

There once was a man from Nantucket
Whose wife feared he might kick the bucket
At night he would gasp and he'd choke and he'd rasp
So to the sleep lab they did truck it.

He had a rough night at the sleep test
Toward morning however got great rest
A breathing machine they did tell him he'd need
And to call cpap dot com, they're the best!
