Today is my one year anniversary!

Post by Tino2You » Wed May 01, 2013 6:01 am

Not with CPAP, that took 16 more days due to my foot dragging DME/Insurance Company but with being diagnosed with Sleep Apnea. I found and joined this group one year ago today after my sleep study. I am truly thankful for everyone in this forum who gave of their time and themselves to help guide the way for us newbies. The list is long and to try and name them would be impossible. I will just say thank you all!

I've been working my therapy pretty religiously and for me it has been very effective. Feeling better, thinking more clearly, and concentrating better. Do I wish that I didn't have to wear the mask every night? Sure! But each night I load up the water tank, don my Swift FX and settle in for a good night’s sleep.

Cheers,
-tino

I'm with you . I started cpap and joined this list, both on April 30 last year. I can't believe it has been a year already. I had a better start than some, but I still owe my success to this forum.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?

Count me in, too. My one-year anniversary was last month. The last time I updated my SleepyHead stats, it reported 375 days of data out of a period of 380 calendar days. Rounded up, that's 99%.

I'd like to say it's made a great difference for me, but I don't really feel it has. Sometimes I feel more tired than I used to. I yawn more. But as I mentioned elsewhere in this forum, the whole reason I went for a sleep study is because I was having trouble falling asleep, which is bound to make my story a little different than the norm.

Still searching for the perfect mask!

Congratulations.
Time sure does fly by doesn't it? Coming up on 4 years myself.

Congratulations to the both of you! After nine months on the hose myself, it has become a pretty simple part of my routine.
