The wife is not too pumped up about it, but we have talked to so many people that have loved them. There is also a program that will contact you at the last minute (you have to be ready) to book on unused rooms and you can get super discounts. I plan on checking them out. You gotta be ready to go at the last minute, though...

Could you PM me that 'last minute' info, I knew it existed, but didn't know where to look. My hubby & I are wanting to take a cruise sometime this summer, but that super discount would really help. I will have to buy a set-up like Cosmos' I guess x2 one for hubby & me, since we are both on CPAP now.
Thanks,
Jen
Don't know Sheriff's source, but I've used vacationstogo.com which has a 90 day travel ticker with great deals on last minute cruises. I took a one-way cruise from San Francisco to Vancouver, BC which took two nights and cost $150. It was two nights hotel, all my food and entertainment and travel to Vancouver. Oh, and in a stateroom with a balcony. They offer repositioning cruises, too but you don't typically end up where you started, but cheap!

I think you have some hyper sensitive AV s/w. Norton Internet Security doesn't bring up any warnings at all. The site looks like a perfectly legitimate business site to me.
my stuff isn't hypersensitive, whatever that means. my avast anti-virus gives a trojan horse warning and won't display the page.

Any travel agent/site can book the "last-minute deals". Travelocity, Expedia, etc....they all have access to the same rates. We've found more personalized service thru a small, local brick-and-mortar agency. They all get the same commission, so there is no $$ difference.

I'm allergic to gray paint and salt water and the deep blue sea. Oh excuse me cruse ships have different color paint,so I'm allergic to that to. Some friends asked for us to go on a cruise and I said I'm sorry I cruised for 20 years.

I keep thinking about how dreadful it would be to be on a ship like that with no power or sewage. We just booked a cruise for the Galapagos islands in August. I hope it goes ok.
