My Optilife cradle cushions all got an orange discoloration to them. I thought it was due to exposure to the air, but I have one on a shelf still in the original sealed plastic which is getting an orange discoloration to it as well.

I suspect that color change is due to impurities in manufacturing.
Wonder if the manufacturer cares if quality control at the factory is falling off.

i checked resmeds site for the quattro fx mask . it most clearly says to store unused mask after cleaning it in a plce out of sunlight. arcangel is correctto add florescent lighting due to the color spectum they emit has muchthe same as natural sunlight.
dow corning has an informative sight about silicone but it seems there are so many formulations of silicone that the word silicone is in itself generic. all the major manuacturers list the material as simply "silicone".
oddly enough the silicone sealer i use at work lists as an ingredient vinegar as a curing agent. and you can surely smell it. perhaps even the plastic these are shipped in can cause a reaction with the material over time.
