What cpap machine do you have? Are you trying to use the Mako DT3500 Infineer card reader? Did you try the driver updates from the Mako site? Encore Viewer has the driver stuff in it but sometimes it needs to be updated.. I have no idea why it is prompting for Pro 1.3. I used Viewer and the card reader with my M series machine without issue. When are you getting the prompt for Pro?Wrongwayman wrote:I'm trying to install my card reader. I have Encore Viewer 1.0 software, but the reader won't install. It says I need EncorePro 1.3 or later. The Encore Viewer IS later. Anybody have any ideas? I'm running Win XP.

Hi there, new to this CPAP thing. Have an A-Flex? Machine? By Respironics. The Card in the back? I downloaded the software mentioned on this thread (SleepyHead - free - yay!). It's nice to be able to look at the numbers. But I can't figure out how to
A. Print Screen and paste it here, so someone can give their opinion on how I am doing
B. Send to an email. I am going to bring my laptop to my sleep doctor appointment tomorrow, to show him the readouts shown in the the SleepyHead software. Apparently, he does not have the Encore Pro software himself, so he waits until FOUR WEEKS of results accumulates, has his patients send to the the company and they send him the readout. I don't want to wait that long! I am doing well in terms of tolearance - My five day average is 6.5 hours nightly. Really doing better than that, but the first day I didn't have the chutzpah to sleep with it, so that brought my average down. I have had a few 8 and 9 hour nights!
My AHI average is 4.44, my leak is 32.17. Is that a good or bad number for leaks? Have no idea. I haven't had any leaks that wake me up with the sense there is a tornado happening on my face - like I had during my sleep study with the mask - so for me am doing pretty good there. Am still snoring - somewhere in the 20's of something called Vibratory Snore (Graph), single digits for vibratory snore without the graph noted.
Any ideas are welcome. I do feel a difference. I don't feel as much like I am dragging my body along the entire day, and my mind feels sharper. So thankful!

Welcome. Could you please formally register here at the forum? Then you can permanently add your equipment so we can help you without having to ask all the time. Here's how.

I use Vista snipping tool to create a screen shot and crop the image at the same time.
Prt/scr key will also take a screen shot if using XP. If laptop is used sometimes the Fn key has to be pushed at the same time as the prt/scr key
I think windows 7 Home Premium has the snipping tool, Basic may not.
Once the screen shot is created save it in jpg format.
Upload the image to a host site. I use Photobucket it is free, there are others.
Once the image is uploaded then copy the ENTIRE IMG address. Be sure to include the opening and closing IMG in brackets. Paste that copied address into a post here.
Use the preview button. If you can't see the image try again because if you can't see it we can't.
If you had Encore Pro 2.4 the reports can be saved in pdf format and then easily emailed. Send me a PM if you want more information on Pro or EncoreViewer.

Open the image to full size so it is easily read.High Hopes wrote:A. Print Screen and paste it here, so someone can give their opinion on how I am doing

I would do screen shots. They are easily emailed.High Hopes wrote:B. Send to an email.

It is probably quite acceptable. The machine records total leak which is the intentional vent rate plus any excess leak. Intentional vent rate depends on the mask used and the pressure used. The higher the pressure.. the higher the intentional vent rate. In the mask literature there should be a graph showing intentional vent/leak rates at various pressures. Example my mask at my average pressure has a 33 L/min intentional vent rate. So anything near that amount is quite acceptable.High Hopes wrote:My AHI average is 4.44, my leak is 32.17. I could try to reinstall and see how that goes... hadn't thought of that, so here's hoping...! Cheers.Exterminator wrote:Could there be a issue with radioboy104's SQL on his PC? like maybe it needs a reinstall?

Hi All,
I know this is delayed, but someone may find it useful.
I just determined on encore pro that if you switch the default Windows 7 printer to another printer it creates the "unable to create the report to display. Please contact product support for help. If you switch the default printer to Microsoft XPS document writer the problem goes away. On my Windows 7 it keeps jumping back to the non XPS printer after reboot. But it works fine every time I switch the default printer back to the XPS Document writer. Maybe it would stick permanently if I logged out after setting it to default rather than shutting down when I am done. I don't know. I have Windows 7 64bit.
