AEIO Everest 2 Humidifier Not Working

Post by tapeworm » Wed May 25, 2011 12:02 am

Hi, I use an AEIO Everest 2, and I think I might've overfilled the humidifier tank...I went to adjust the humidifier settings just now and they're not even showing up on the screen. The bottom where I slide the tank in is a little wet, so I dried it but it's still not working. I don't have a manual :/ and I've only had the machine for a couple of weeks. any ideas?

By the way, if you know of anywhere online I can find a manual for this machine, I'd be grateful.

Try removing the entire humidifier assy and battery from machine. Set it all someplace dry with good air circulation(a sunny window). In a day or two try starting it again. This should give time for all the moisture to get out of where ever it got to. It might work...it might not...but it's worth a try.
Don't have a link for an on-line manual, but I'll try to answer specific questions for you.

Try above link for instructions on how to obtain clinician manual via email. Scroll all the way to the bottom and I see these shown.

Thanks to both of you! I dried it out more thoroughly and aired it out a bit and the humidifier is working again - I was so worried I'd shorted it out or something.

I will email about the manual right now, thanks.

I observed that the heated humidifier for the Everest 3 does not work above 8000 ft elevation! This is a consistent observation as it happened in Chile, China, and Ecuador. The pre-heat mode does work at higher elevations.
