Thanks.

EncoreViewer 2.0 is the patient version of Encore Pro 2.xxx.

Both are Windows based software and if someone uses a different OS there will need to be some work around to make it work.
I am not sure if Viewer will work on 64 bit computer
Pro does have a 64 bit version and a 32 bit version

Pro is the clinician version of the software and has lots of stuff in it that pertains to doctors office and DME stuff.
Reports will be the same except that Pro will offer waveform data from the PR S1 machines and Viewer does not report that particular piece of data. Viewer is less bulky as Pro is fairly large and can be slow at times depending on computer.

With Pro you can erase the data card (it defaults to do this, so must remove check mark if you don't want a blank data card)
you can also set pressures and stuff, but I find it easier to just do it at the machine level. Can be a bit daunting when first used due to all the extra stuff but once a person does it once, not really a big deal.

Hi,

Can someone point me in the direction of the latest version? The 2.2 version I have doesn't seem to like to prescription my latest PR System One auto bipap. If I chose Respironics Auto Bipap it writes the card and the card gives errors in the machine until I pull the card and reformat it. Interestingly the errors start after it finishes reading the prescription and absorbs it or some of it. I am hoping a current version behaves better.

Thanks,

BrianD

Hi,
where can I find this encorePro version, please? I have the encoreviewer but
it doesn't show my breathing pattern; I don't know if that is not possible with my machine or
I have to have a different machine in order to see it. I am trying to figure out why I feel so groggy/tired still even
though my numbers seem really good. thanks for any help,

Are you still using the M series machine? If so, you won't have waveform data available and your reports will be identical to the EncoreViewer reports. I have M series machine and I also have EncoreViewer and Pro, no difference in the reports at all. Our machines don't gather waveform to report. Pro is bulky, slow and PITA sometimes. Now if a new PR S1 machine is in your future, then that is a different story. Let me know if you still want Pro.

Regarding not feeling so good? Maybe time to post a couple of your reports to see if anyone has any ideas on what might be going on. Daily detailed reports, not the summary.

I'd like some more information on EncorePro 2.0 also please. I have to keep an old WinXP laptop around just to reconfigure cards on my EncorePro 1.8 setup.

I acquired a copy of Encore Pro 2.4 32 bit program (OS is XP Professional SP3) about five to six months ago and have had nothing but problems in getting the program to accept a new user name and new password after I entered the default user name and password. The program loads fine and I get the login screen below. This is where I entered the default username and default password.

After logging in, another screen pops up prompting you to enter a new username and password. (I forgot to capture that screen shot.) This is where I run into the problem. No matter what combinations in character lengths I use for the new username and new password I get the message below.

Are there a certain number and/or type of characters I need to use for the new username and password?

I have installed and uninstalled (using Revo Uninstaller and then running CCleaner) the program about 10 to 15 times already, and I still get the same password message error every time.
I finally gave up about two months ago.

I always wondered if I could have had a corrupt version of the program. Can someone point me in the direction to obtain another copy of Encore Pro 2.4 for a 32 bit computer?

After install and first time log in Encore Pro 2 will ask for UserID (every time you open the software it will ask for UserID and passord)

Use (case sensitive)

EncoreAdmin (User ID)

password1

It will then likely say that password has expired and ask you to submit another. I chose password2 because it was easier to remember. 3 failed log in attempts can lock up the software. Someone has found a work around for this with some success but not all. So be careful.

User ID EncoreAdmin is the supreme administrator, you can always just just this User ID as log in or we can create additional user ids once we are within the program. I just use EncoreAdmin, it is simply easier than trying to remember another ID and password.
Default expiration time for password is 90 days, so go change it to 365 days that way won't have to keep updating password.

Regarding error message. I have no idea. Seems like someone else reported something similar and it had to do with screen resolution. I think changing to higher resolution solved the problem.

Sent PM with link for fresh install.

I wish there was a way to tag pages or discussions as favorites.

This is one that I would tag. So I can get back to it when I have more time.
