How could I NOT forgive you, SleepingUgly???!! Of course, you are forgiven. (But since you offered, I'm taking that SleepingBeauty sleeping bag).

OK, you can have it. I wasn't sure how I would fit my wedge pillow, my body pillow, and the other two pillows I use in the sleeping bag anyway.

I am worried that I won't sleep. Should I take Ambien or will that be too entertaining for the rest of you, thereby contributing to your sleep onset delay?

I'd like to iron out all these kinds of details in advance, and am a little stressed that no one has volunteered for our other experimental conditions.

Do you all remember that one poster who said at his sleep study the tech had him pee in a portable urinal thing in bed, and it spilled or splashed or whatever? I hope Muffy doesn't have that kind of policy at his sleep center, because as I'm lying there, trying to fall asleep, I don't need the added stress of wondering who peed in the bed I'm now lying in. (I really wish I hadn't come up with that "pea" comment, as now it's on my mind constantly.)

No, but don't even think about asking to drop a duece.

You might want to put me in my own room, as I have a lot of air passing right through me all night.

How can it be that no one is volunteering to be subjects in our experiment, what with Muffy's beautiful posts, and Bev being all gassy??

Come on, people, you can't complain about the state of knowledge in sleep medicine if you aren't willing to contribute by enrolling yourselves and your snore-free spouses as subjects!

What about you, -SWS? I haven't seen you signing up. And Cloudy??

Hey... recall I booked the prestigious ukulele orchestra. Generally, if silliness is involved... I'm in. Sign me up.

Well, Uncle_Bob should be a shoo-in, since he started the post. And if I recall correctly, he used to have some deliciously awesome avatars, so maybe he'd even be willing to cook.

I'll volunteer for a chin strap. (how about the Halloween tights I got out of the sale bin...one orange leg and one black leg...will that work?) Last time I tried the $1 Wal-mart mouthgard, it wound up stuck to my back

Great! So -SWS, Uncle Bob, and Tired Linda are in!! (Actually, I wish Uncle Bob would go back to his bacon and eggs avatar over the gummies. The latter is making it hard for me to not eat candy.)

That's perfect... Pajama-Rama 2011 is featuring a snoring contest. Who better to tally up our world-class snores than a math professor with insomnia? And who better to differentiate them from aerophagia's lovely intestinal symphony?

Welcome aboard, robysue!

Meanwhile back at the ranch They have just emailed my titration study report.
It looks like I showed up but my central events didn't that night my AHI was 0.2 and the pressure went from 5cm to 6cm.
So the doctor has recommended CPAP at 6cm. My previous titrated pressure was 7cm with an AHI of 2.2.
