It looks like I showed up but my central events didn't that night my AHI was 0.2 and the pressure went from 5cm to 6cm.
So the doctor has recommended CPAP at 6cm. My previous titrated pressure was 7cm with an AHI of 2.2.

If I sleep well then my treated AHI is also close to zero. But if there's plenty of wakefulness dispersed in the early morning, then my wake-related central apneas appear:

What's up with that? my centrals didn't show up at my titration, either!
Sleep study (Aug 2010): AHI 16 (On mask AHI 0.2) <-- Now, if I could just attain that "0.2" again!

If they were wake related centrals, then they should not have been scored during the PSG---whereas your PAP machine will blindly score them based solely on flow signal. Then there's also the issue of a home-based PAP machine not being able to differentiate central apneas as accurately as PSG.

Did you take any meds prior to the test?

Well there's your problem!
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19968044
CONCLUSION: In an open-label trial, ICSA patients studied experienced a decrease in central apnea/hypopneas with zolpidem. They also had improved sleep continuity and decreased subjective daytime sleepiness, without a worsening of oxygenation or obstructive events in the majority of patients. However, in the absence of a randomized, controlled trial, zolpidem cannot be recommended for treatment of ICSA at this time.
you chased the centrals away!

Not in my case...no Ambien here.
I think the centrals are just scared of the sleep lab!
