Jazzer made me curious...all because she pondered why sleep wasn't occurring easily, then remembered how much gear she was sleeping with.

I have my BiPap, mask, one of those pillows to go between your knees to help keep your spine straight and a teddy bear. Yes, I sleep with a teddy bear and I am 32 years old. Before my carpal tunnel surgery I had to keep my wrist propped up on something, and now it is such a habit that I can not sleep without holding something. He is cute, too.

You could add sports mouth guard to the list...bet you would get some numbers there. I also sleep with a cat...or...he sleeps with me. Sweetie likes to drape his torso across my left shoulder and put his ribs against my ear. What a wonderful purr he has. Other times I'm treated to the gurgling sounds his intestines make. Enough said about that!

Well. I'm 71 and I sleep with a Teddy Bear as well! His name is Button. He really helps my arthritic wrists----and he's really cute too!!

I also sleep with a husband (also a hosehead) and 2 very cute, very sweet, little dogs - a pug and a shitzu.

On the poll, I checked:

• xPAP or some flavor (even a vent) with hose & mask
• Papcap
• Recording oximeter
• Bed Wedge/extra pillows

Under my head, I'm currently using a buckwheat hull pillow (which I absolutely hated at first, but now I love it!). And I use another pillow under my top arm (I sleep on my side). No Teddy Bear (or, um, "Cloudy Bear" ), but Mr. Sock Monkey sometimes sleeps with me. Oh, and there's a husband too. Sadly, my beloved cat was banished from the bedroom when I started CPAP 15 months ago. She woke me up too often throughout the night, and I decided that sleep had to be a priority. I do miss snuggling with her.

I didn't see the option for "happy butt monkey". My grandma made me one some 40 odd years ago, don't know his fate, seen socks in a catalog a few years ago, reminded me of him. Dream On, I see some condensation in your hose, hope you don't have rainout to deal with also, there are so many things that affect sleep. john

I had a sock monkey as a child too!

Actually, the hose had just been washed and not hung to dry yet. That photo was taken about a year ago, when I used a ResMed S8 machine and a regular hose. I use the ClimateLine hose with my S9 machine now, and I don't have any rainout. I can't even remember the last time I washed it -- maybe not since I got it in June.

My bear is Ward Bear. He has been known to sneak out of the house to get forties. I let him sleep with me anyway.
