Hello Larry,

Well it was an interesting night with the traded out machine. My leak rate came in at 48 lpm on the new machine, down from 62 the night before on the old machine. Everything else was the same, so that shows at least a 14 lpm difference! I was very restless last night due to being sore from work (old muscles don't recover as well as they use to!) so I am sure that increased my leak rate that was shown. Given the ± 6.0 L/min stated for my mask leak rate from the user guide (shown below) I would say it is in the correct range NOW. I am convinced more than ever the other machine was showing an incorrect leak rate.

HOWEVER...my AHI was exactly what it has been even on the old machine. So while it appears the machine was wrong on the leak rate, it was correct on the AHI! Now that is only after one night so I will know more as I continue with the new 244.

More importantly...How are you doing?

Forgive me if this has been asked, but do you have hose/mask type settings in your device? My S9 does and it is calibrated (default leak rate) for certain types of masks. If I change the mask type, the leak data is completely fubar. Worth a look if you haven't confirmed this.
